Beginner Mat with Beth Episode 1

In this beginner mat class, we'll gently explore the foundational exercises that form the heart of a mindful movement practice. Think of this as building your body's awareness from the ground up. We'll take our time, focusing on proper alignment and engaging core muscles to support each movement. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn as we unlock flexibility, build strength, and find a little more ease in our bodies. Let's get started on this journey together!

Equipment you will need:

  • Weighted balls or two water bottles

  • Pillow for your head

  • Yoga block or tennis balls if you don’t have the weighted balls for under the pelvis
